The Lion Queen--Flamingo!

I realized that I didn't post about the show before hand, and now that it's over it was a great show.
If you missed it I'm truly sorry I didn't give you enough warning or encouragement to see it.
For the show I didn't have any solo's, but I did have a character with the responsibiliy of making sure that the sets and set pieces changed fluidly from one scene to the next.
My character was a flamingo. I constructed a pink feather covered jacket specifically for the part with the financial backing of Ronny Bell, AKA Britney Halston of the Orange County Imperial Court, who will now own said coat. (I will also be offering custom copies of this coat in any color on Etsy through my design company there.)

Here are a few shots of me in the show and/or just wearing the coat before or after the show:

Show Opens Saturday Night!

This was the performance that got Mr Jones in trouble with his agent and record label.
Country Music is actually pretty conservative and well...

This kind of reaction to his lover (and the washboard player in his band) cheating on him, was just too much for the fans to handle. So he was told to get into a "Pray the Gay Away" program right away. Well that didn't sit well with him and he ended up in Cooter General.

SCC Show comming up soon.

Cooter County General Hospital
HOEDOWN JAMBOREE &
 Talent Show

I will be singing with the chorus, playing the part of a crazy country singer, Mr. Joe Jones. Who's a patient at Cooter County General Hospital in the Sanatorium wing. I have a break out solo part in the number "Belly up to the Bar Boys" which precedes the first intermission, as a reminder there is a cash bar for the patrons of the show to enjoy (Said bar is actually open and serving all during the show.) As a courtesy, table service of libations will be provided during the show by the staff and patients of Cooter Gen to aid in the inebriation of our guests.
" 'Cause, the more ya'all drink the bettuh we sing! "

Seating is Cabaret style with VIP tables seating 4 each closer to the stage and general admission tables seating 10 each farther from the stage. In order to reserve a table the appropriate number tickets should be bought together.

All tickets are being sold on line through the chorus website: SCC Singers dot com

Sadly her Imperial Partner in representing the International Imperial Court of Long Beach, H. M. I. M Saphire Blue Double Dolphin Rider of the Wave the 42nd Elected Emporer of Long Beach, Emperor Dick St James had passed this reigning year. Long may he Reign. It was my honor to have sung for these leaders of my home community.
